What does Rophoria-P KOPPERT look like
It comes in a cardboard package that contains 100 hoverfly pupae to hang on the crop. From these pupae will be born the adults who will lay their eggs near the first outbreaks. It applies preventively. Females lay up to 400 eggs, and larvae are able to move up to 5 meters from the point of release to find aphids (food). In the absence of aphids, the larvae are also able to feed on thrips, whitefly and phytophagous mites.
Rophoria-P KOPPERT should be introduced as soon as the first flowers are spotted on the crop. These will feed the adults with pollen and nectar, with the aim of creating a population of hoverflies in the crop in order to immediately control the first aphids, before they do damage. If the crop does not produce palatable flowers, flowering plants such as Lobularia must be introduced.
Sphaerophoria rueppellii is active at low and high temperatures (from 5°C to 40°C - optimal development between 15 and 35°C) and is resistant to low levels of humidity.
KOPPERT has achieved excellent results in crops such as:

How to use Rophoria-P KOPPERT
You need to open the package gently. Hang vertically to the crop, one package for each release point. The release points should be evenly distributed (different each week) and away from the edges.
How to store it:
Introduce on the crop as soon as possible after receipt of the package. Store for a maximum of one day after delivery, at a temperature of: 15-18°C, in a dark, upright place.
