TRIS Agri Impol contains queens, 350-400 workers, brood (pupae, eggs and larvae) and sugar water.
Weatherproof. The packaging is well insulated and ventilated; This allows bumblebees to perform even better.
Each colony is equipped with a Beehome door. This door allows bumblebees to re-enter but not to escape, until the door is fully opened.
Place TRIS Agri Impol before crops bloom to ensure a pollination period of at least 4 weeks.
Distribute Tripol hives evenly in the field. Place the hives on a horizontal platform just above ground level (see image).
Wait 30 minutes for the colony to calm down.
Do not expose the hives to direct sunlight, protect from rain, and apply a weight on top, to prevent the wind from carrying away the hives.
Open the ventilation holes at the top of the hive in hot weather conditions (between 15 – 25 °C).
Pull the white sliding door of each hive upwards until the two openings (entrance and exit) are visible. Do not remove the black door under the cover.
The hives contain the nourishment to keep the bumblebees in good condition during transport and storage.
TRIS Agri Impol must be placed on the day of your arrival.
Make sure that the hives and their entrances are clearly visible, to ensure that the bumblebees easily find their way back.
Place the hives horizontally (not at an angle), to avoid sugar water leakage.
Before moving TRIS Agri Impol make sure that all bumblebees have returned to the hive.
