The product comes in capsules with two purchase options:
- 125 capsules
- 1000 capsules
Each capsule contains at least 3800 parasitized eggs. The individuals who will flicker will be 60% female.
When using Tricho-Strip
The Tricho-Strip parasitoid goes in search of fresh eggs; it is therefore necessary to release it in the field about 10 days before the peak flight of the borer.
What it does in concrete terms
Trichogramma brassicae parasitizes only the eggs. The female lays inside the borer egg, the latter will act as food for the larva of the insect useful during its development.
How to use it
Deploy manually or with the help of a drone (recommended mode). If distributed manually, place the capsule in the armpit of the 7/8 leaf, in correspondence with the ear.
Apply 10 days before the peak flight of the phytophagus.
Do not apply with temperatures above 32°.
Tricho-Strip can be stored in the dark, at a controlled temperature between 9-12°C, for no more than 4-5 days.
