Utilization:

For the control of mealybugs, citrus fruits (Planococcus citri) and grapevine (Planococcus ficus).

How does that work:

Adult females of Anagyrus vladimiri parasitize the  second and third stage nymphs of mealybugs of citrus and grapevine mealybugs.

In the skin of the parasitized mealybug, the pupae of Anagyrus vladimiri develop becoming very similar to swollen cottony mealybug larvae.

Product Specifications:

50 ml  bottle with 500 mummies inside

How to use:

Peel the label off the bottle by following the arrows, hang the bottle horizontally  on a branch, close to the mealybug colony and away from direct light sources.

Open the cap and leave the bottle hanging  for at least two weeks.

Dosages:

The dosage of citripar  depends on the climate, the crop, the density of the pests   and should always be adapted to the specific situation. Start the introduction in advance. Introduction dosages generally range from 0.1 to 0.5 per m2/release. Make 2 introductions per hectare at the end of May, 2 in July and 2 in September for a total of 6 introductions.

Environmental conditions:

Citripar has maximum effectiveness at a temperature of 25°C

The minimum temperature at which development can occur is 13 °C

Joint Use:

Pair with Cryptobug or Cryptobug-L for effective control of mealybugs.

Storage and packaging:

Since biological control products have a (very) short life cycle, they should be introduced into the crop as soon as possible after receipt.

The shelf life is 1 - 2 days after its receipt.

Store the product at a temperature of 10-15 °C and away from light sources.
