Decis trap by Bayer is a ready-to-use insecticide trap

Specially designed against fruit flies and vines. The technology with which it acts is "attract and kill" or a method that uses a food attractant and a sexual pheromone dispenser to attract females and males respectively.

The trap is built entirely of plastic, all this to maximize effectiveness, practicality and safety for the operator.

The base of Decis trap is yellow to attract the insect and contains a food attractant and pheromone specific to each fly. The upper part, i.e. the lid, is internally covered with deltamethrin, being transparent allows the operator to quickly check the catches without ever coming into contact with the insecticide substance. The latter, being inside the trap, will be protected from atmospheric agents and will not disperse into the environment in case of rain.

Composition: 0.015 g of pure deltamethrin/trap

DOSES AND METHODS OF USE:

The product is used for the control of fruit flies, citrus fruits, pome fruits, stone fruits, wine and table vines and other various fruits, using 50 - 80 traps/ha depending on the pressure of the pest.

The trap should be placed when an adult/trap/day is caught in the monitoring traps or 30 - 40 days before the start of fruit colouring or 50 days before harvesting.

The device is hung firmly at the end of the tree branch, at a height of 1.40 - 1.80 m from the ground.

For optimal results, it is advisable to arrange them following a quincunx pattern.

WARNINGS:

Do not use Decis trap if the plastic container is broken, damaged or if it comes from unsealed packaging.
