Life and the environment are an inseparable combination: humanity must know how to mend tears, activate right and adequate relationships, must develop systems of interaction and solidarity with the environment and become aware that it is not the master of the Universe, that it cannot impose its laws.
It is an absolute duty and can no longer be postponed, we join the now worldwide chorus that demands measures in favor of the environment, and in our own small way we have decided to adopt, and by example suggest, behaviors and techniques that respect the environment.
The world's population uses more resources than it can afford, our lifestyle is not sustainable: we consume too much and our planet will soon run out of the resources necessary for life.
Man with his action does not leave nature indifferent, he leaves an imprint that we must know how to evaluate in order to act conservatively of the resources that nature itself has made available to us, so as to leave living space and resources to subsequent generations, to our children.
In the last 20 years, resource consumption in Europe has increased by 33% per capita. In Italy, each person consumes enough resources for two people, in France for three, in the United States much more. Only by changing habits and adopting conscious lifestyles will we be able to establish a balance with nature that will allow us to preserve life on this planet.

Our Mission

Only with the awareness of what we have to do, the knowledge of what we can do and the awareness of what not to do will we be able to achieve the goal we have set ourselves.
We are nature and in nature we will find our nourishment, nature will take care of us, through food we will maintain the relationship with nature our mother.

We are operators in the agricultural world

Our company and its member companies, using the experience gained over years of work, constant research, observation and monitoring, are daily engaged in the creation of cultivation models and systems that rigidly take into account the interaction and impact on the environment and biodiversity.

We imagine Nature as a super-laboratory that produces everything we need, but what we pursue most is the production of food that is medicine for those who eat it.
We recognize the importance of soil, because soil is Bios, and hence our conviction that plants, in order to bring in them all the power of Nature and all the nutraceutical virtues that Nature gives, must live in the earth, not soilless and hydroponics.
The origin of life is in the earth, according to Genesis God made man from the mud of the earth.
At the Sherena Group, we want to be the bearers of a business model that harmoniously combines profit and sustainability.
We are committed to this Mission, which advocates a non-predatory use of nature and its resources and which is based on the belief that cultivating the land is first and foremost regenerating, never destroying. We believe that nature, wisely managed, can provide us with the means to defend it, to nourish and heal us, without violating it.
In this regard, we have adopted a self-regulatory code that supports and identifies our VISION:

a) Environmental sustainability
Rational use of cultivated land, rational use of water, strict reduction of chemical means, less fossil energy, less CO2 emissions.

b) Centrality of the customer and nature
Productions that respect the health and preferences of the consumer, targeted and planned production, reduce or avoid waste.

c) Technical innovations
Contain production costs, using technical means capable of giving more while spending less.

To this end, we have selected and are using products that help us achieve our goals, namely:

Biostimulants--> are substances extracted from plants and microorganisms used to enrich and improve the rhizosphere which is the vital part of the soil within which the roots carry out all their vital functions, thus promoting plant growth and development during the life cycle. They are different substances from fertilizers that provide macro and microelements useful for growth. A soil poor in microorganisms and organic matter misuses the mineral elements which, although present in the soil, the plant is unable to assimilate. To obtain healthy fruit with all the neutracetic virtues useful and necessary for the health of the consumer, the biota, in the soil in which they grow, must be rich in mineral elements but essentially the rhizosphere rich and vital. Biostimulants include various formulations of organic materials, such as humic substances, hydrolyzed proteins , algae extracts which, when applied to the plant and the soil, are able to regulate and/or increase the physiological processes of crops, improving the efficiency of the system as a whole, making plants healthier, more resistant and therefore able to defend themselves against biotic and abiotic stresses.

- Resistance inducers--> plantshave the ability to implement strategies aimed at creating symbiosis with other living beings, such as flower colors and nectar to attract and compensate insects useful for pollination and therefore for the survival and propagation of the species. The examples would be endless. At the same time, plants are able to implement defense strategies against harmful insects that feed on or devour vital parts of the plant. Or even defend yourself from abiotic stresses such as temperature and climate in general. There are substances of natural and plant origin that stimulate this resistance or that create external conditions for the defense of vegetation.

Microorganisms in the soil--> are billions of bacteria and fungi that populate the rhizosphere, are multiplied and produced in protected and specific environments, are capable of improving the biosphere and at the same time bringing balance to the detriment of harmful fungi and bacteria that have taken over and attack and damage cultivated plants. The use of these organisms in agriculture, considering the action they carry out in the soil, leads to a marked improvement in favour of consumer health and the environment. They are very useful for improving the microbial activity of the soil.

Beneficial insects (entomoparasites)--> are insects, fungi, bacteria already present in nature that are reproduced, cultivated or bred in particular favorable artificial conditions and reintroduced into the ecosystem in overwhelming numbers. They limit and control the action of harmful parasites.

- Biological activators--> are substances of plant origin capable of activating or enhancing particular activities of the plant. They usually trigger the plant's natural self-defense processes by promoting biochemical modifications typical of natural biological activation. They are complex mixtures of naturally selected microorganisms, enzymes and special biocatalysts that, once released into the ecosystem, play the dual role of inoculations of useful microorganisms and modulators of the microbiological activity of the substrate. They provide useful microbial flora and carry out an effective activity of stimulation and modulation of the entire useful microbial population. The most important biological activators are the
PGPR, promoters of plant development and growth. They live and develop around the roots of plants, releasing useful substances such as phytohormones, responsible for cell division and distension , which stimulate the growth of roots and the aerial system.
