The Zagara Bianca variety is a selection of the common femminello, from which it differs in some aesthetic but also organoleptic characteristics.
It has slightly stockier white flowers, slightly smaller but fuller leaves and a beautiful bright green, even the wood seems kinder.
It produces gracefully elongated and well-sized fruits, ripe as early as January but full maturity is in February and the harvest can last until the end of May, but it will be necessary to help the plant in this effort.
It is a very generous plant, it produces, if well nourished, even whitebait and green. It then provides fruit for many months. Fruits with few seeds, very rich in less acidic juice than other lemons which makes it good to eat.
We recommend at temperatures below 4 degrees to shelter the plant with nylon sheets and to wrap the trunk with non-woven fabric.
